GeoStudio 2007 Add-In Developer's Kit Released

One of the exciting new features in GeoStudio 2007 is the ability to use your own Add-Ins in place of any internal function or SIGMA/W constitutive model. Internal GeoStudio functions include all soil property and boundary condition functions - basically any current function that is defined as a single relationship between a “y” value and an “x” value.

What if you feel that your soil strength changes over time or distance? You can now write an Add-In that the solvers will use in place of the existing internal function. Your Add-In can even access “live” data from inside the solvers, or it can access data from another external source such as an Excel file.

The Add-In Developer's Kit (also called the SDK, or Software Development Kit) contains instructions, templates, scripts, and sample code to get you started. Download it here or from the GeoStudio 2007 Downloads page.

GeoStudio 2007 Certified for Windows Vista™

GEO-SLOPE is pleased to announce that GeoStudio 2007 is the first geotechnical modeling software to receive the "Certified for Windows Vista™" logo from Microsoft. The Certified for Windows Vista™ logo indicates that GeoStudio 2007 will install reliably, run securely, and perform well on both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Vista. Note that GeoStudio 2007 will also run on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

GEO-SLOPE selected as one of "Calgary's Best Places to Work"

GEO-SLOPE has been selected by Calgary Inc magazine as one of Calgary's 16 best places to work. Companies were selected through an online survey process which was sent out to employees at Calgary-based companies. More than 1,250 individuals responded, nominating 125 unique companies for the competition. The survey sought to determine employees attitudes on five themes: corporate reputation, corporate culture, corporate responsibility, leadership, and employee benefits. We are very pleased to be selected as one of "Calgary's Best Places Work".
