Upgrade your Version 5
products to GeoStudio 2004
On May 1, 2004, we released 2004 editions (Version 6) of SLOPE/W, SEEP/W,
SIGMA/W, QUAKE/W, TEMP/W, CTRAN/W and VADOSE/W. Besides significant
improvements to each individual product, we focused on improving the product
integration, which has always been one of the distinguishing characteristics of
GEO-SLOPE software.
For the new release, we created a new desktop environment called GeoStudio that enables all of the products to be run from within this single program. They also now share and use a common data definition within GeoStudio, which opens the door to new types of analyses and greater ease-of-use.
SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, SIGMA/W, QUAKE/W, TEMP/W, CTRAN/W and VADOSE/W product licenses can still be acquired individually and can be run on their own within GeoStudio, just like in the past. You can also purchase the following bundled product licenses at a cost savings:
Bundled licenses are unique in that one license provides access to several software products. If you are running SLOPE/W with a GeoStudio Standard license, for example, you can also run SEEP/W and SIGMA/W analyses simultaneously on your computer with that license. This makes GeoStudio Standard an excellent value – you essentially get three products for the price of two.
Please contact GEO-SLOPE for more information on upgrading or purchasing new licenses.
GeoStudio Basic
Edition Now Available
On September 1, we released a Basic Edition of GeoStudio 2004. The Basic
Edition is a feature-limited version of 6 products - SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, SIGMA/W,
CTRAN/W, TEMP/W and QUAKE/W. The Basic Edition is ideal for use in routine
engineering practice for the analysis of problems with limited geometric
complexity. While primarily intended for analyzing the stability of natural and
man-made earth slopes, you can also use GeoStudio Basic for the analysis of
confined and unconfined steady-state seepage problems, for the analysis of
linear-elastic settlement and stress distribution problems, for the tracking of
contaminants within ground water flow and for the analysis of freeze-thaw
problems.
You can purchase the GeoStudio Basic Edition at a low price of just $995 (USD), or upgrade from the Version 5 SLOPE/W Basic Edition for just $495 (USD). You will not find any other geotechnical software with a better cost-per-feature value than what is available in GeoStudio Basic.
Please contact GEO-SLOPE to purchase GeoStudio Basic, or visit our website for additional information.
