Engineering Methodology Books
With
the release of GeoStudio 2007 GEO-SLOPE has updated the complete series of Engineering
Methodology books related to modeling. With one book for each product in GeoStudio,

this series took months to compile. These books are not software manuals but full length
books that discuss why and how to model. They do not discuss how to use the commands
in the software or which buttons to click - that is provided in detail in
the
Online Help in each program.
These books are about thinking: how to think before, during and after you setup
and solve a model.
Each book follows a similar format, with chapters devoted to such topics as How to Model,
Meshing, Material Properties, Boundary Conditions, Numerical Issues, Visualization of Results,
Illustrative Examples, and Theory.
Select a PDF file from this list to view the complete table of contents of
each book as well as the complete introductory chapter. The entire book is included
in spiral bound and electronic format with each copy of software purchased, or can be purchased
separately.
