Newmark Deformation Analysis
The objective of this example is to show how the finite element stresses obtained from the QUAKE/W dynamic analysis of the slope during an earthquake can be use directly in SLOPE/W to evaluate the stability of the slope during the earthquake and the resulting permanent deformation of the slope using the Newmark method. It also shows the seamless QUAKE/W – SLOPE/W product integration in GeoStudio.
