Probability - James Bay Case History
The objective of this example is to show the use of SLOPE/W in the probabilistic analysis of a well documented case history. In this example, not only is the data variability of the soil properties considered, the example also considers spatial variability of the soil properties across the entire length of the soil stratum. The solution from SLOPE/W (FOS = 1.460) shows excellent agreement to the case history documented by El-Ramly et. al. (2002).
