What is a Service Pack?
A Service Pack is an application that will update your software to the latest release
within a particular version. For example, if you are currently running GeoStudio 2004
version 6.16, you can download and install the GeoStudio 2004 version 6.21 Service Pack to update your
installation to version 6.21. You could not, however, install the version 7.03
Service Pack, because you do not have a version 7 product installed.
Service Packs are always free, so once you purchase a particular version (e.g. version 7),
you can always have the latest features and fixes as soon as we release them. To upgrade
to a new version, such as from a version 6 product (GeoStudio 2004) to version 7 (GeoStudio 2007), you
can purchase an upgrade license.
